Lions take on Swans

  1. Hello and welcome to the Liberty Stadium where Millwall face Swansea City.

The Lions have been hovering near the bottom three for an uncomfortably long period now and face a tough task to get three points today.

If Millwall fans thought they had an underwhelming deadline day, then it was nothing compared to the Swans, who let three players leave as their cost-cutting continues.

It will be a real clash of styles as Swansea like to have the ball. Millwall will look to do to them what they did to Middlesbrough three weeks ago, but this time see out a win.

  2. Here's (former Cardiff striker!) Neil Harris on today's opponents.

We’re probably up against the best football team in the division. The stats certainly show, possession-wise, they’re right up there with the very best.

They’ve got some excellent players and real quality on the ball. It’s an afternoon when we’ll have to be really patient and disciplined, very much like the Everton game.

It’s a great place to play, great fans who really get behind their team. It’s a really good atmosphere when you go there with English clubs playing the Welsh teams.

I used to love playing Swansea with Cardiff. It’s a good test for the players.

We’re disappointed we didn’t get all three points last weekend, having watched it back we deserved them. We were the team who set out to win the game.

We’ve got 11 points from six games and two FA Cup wins. So there are real positives and we look to carry on building on that.

Swansea is tough one but one we can go and enjoy.
