Lions face Villa

  1. Hello and welcome to live coverage of Millwall against Aston Villa at The Den.

It's the last game before the international break, and though the Lions produced a positive performance to come back and get a point at Nottingham Forest on Wednesday, it's time to start getting those wins that will take them away from the bottom three.

Don't forget, Lions fan Ted Cheeseman will be at The Den today selling tickets for his British title fight on October 27, with commission from the day's sales going to the fund for the rehabilitation of fellow Millwall fan and boxer Charlie Wynn.

  2. Here's Neil Harris in the match programme talking about the comeback at Forest.

If we ever needed reminding what our football club is about, when backs are to the wall and it's tough, then the performance, individually and collectively, to come from two down, was very fitting.

We're working tirelessly as a group - you can see that in the performances of the players, who are giving everything to be the best they can.

I know that you guys, the fans, are desperate to get behind the team and support them and me. This is an afternoon to show that in abundance.

What you all know is that I will not rest and the team will continue today and into the international break, where we will get back to our best, back to winning games and back to climbing the table.
