  1. Good morning.

    It's Southwark News day today.

We've got interviews with young Lions right-back James Brown who recalls his time with Carlisle last season, what he learned and his ambition over the next two years of his contract.

We also spoke to Chris Perry, joint-boss of Millwall under-18s with Larry McAvoy. He talks about ingraining in them the Millwall identity and trying to hit targets of a certain number of those players getting professional deals.

Plus there's all the other news from around the Borough.

  3. Derby County are reported to be the club that has had a bid accepted by Brentford for striker Florian Jozefzoon.

Sheffield United are set to splash quite a lot of that £11million they received from Bournemouth this summer for David Brooks. They have had a bid of £4million accepted by Brentford for centre-back John Egan, 25. Blades boss Chris Wilder also wants a striker and is being linked with a £5million move for Ipswich Town's Martyn Waghorn.

Aston Villa badly need to sell players for a lot of dosh to avoid falling foul of Financial Fair Play rules. Jack Grealish, 22, is again being linked with a move away, with Tottenham thought to be in prime position to seal his signature.

Reading want to sign Sam Baldock from Brighton.

Stoke City are being linked with a move for Huddersfield's 26-year-old winger Tom Ince.

Robert Huth played in a behind-closed-doors friendly for Stoke this week, but the 33-year-old is unlikely to rejoin his former side. Instead, Derby boss Frank Lampard is rumoured to be interested in signing his former team-mate.
