Election night is well and truly underway, and this haunting Donald Trump cake is headed into Trump tower.
There has been some stories emerging from the voting already, with Massachusetts Governnor Charlie Baker stating he didn't vote for either candidate when he went to the booth

NBC exit polls are coming in showing that 54% of voters an unfavourable opinion of Clinton, the figures show.
That percentage rises to 61% for Trump. Meanwhile, 59% of voters do not think Clinton is trustworthy, whereas 64% don't believe Trump has the temperament to serve as president.
Fair to say neither of these are particularly popular candidates.
Polls are closing in Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, South Carolina, Virginia, and Vermont in the next few minutes
There are also reports of a polling place in California being put into lockdown after shots were apparently fired nearby, with two people understood to have been injured.
The Electoral College votes on the line in those states:
Georgia: 16 votes
Indiana: 11 votes
Kentucky: 8 votes
South Carolina: 9 votes
Vermont: 3 votes
Virginia: 13 votes
AP are reporting that Kentucky and Indiana look to be going to Trump, while Vermont is going to Hillary Clinton
George W. Bush and his wife Laura Bush apparently left their ballots blank when they voted - choosing not to back either Clinton or Trump.
Responding to comments from radio host Rush Limbaugh, a spokesperson for Bush said: "President and Mrs. Bush voted two weeks ago (not today) and did not vote for Hillary Clinton"
With Indiana in, it's worth re-visiting our key battles to watch across the United States. Vigo County, which has correctly predicted the winner of the Presidential race all but two times since 1888 has gone to...Trump
38 of the 89 precincts in the county have reported currently, so there's still some counting to go yet

In the down ballot races, a number of Senate seats are up for grabs. So far:
Patrick Leahy in Vermont returned for the Democrats
Rand Paul re-elecetd for the Republicans in Kentucky
AP giving Rob Portman the win in Ohio, where he has been re-elected for the Republican Party
Some crucial info to keep in mind tonight.
Polling locations in North Carolina staying open in Durham later than usual. There was a computer glitch, which will push results back.
A number of outlets calling New Jersey, Massachusetts, Delaware, Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Rhode Island for Clinton

Marco Rubio has been re-elected to the Senate in Florida
James Lankford has also been re-elected to the Senate for the Republicans, while John Carney wins as as Governor of Delaware for the Democrats.
Richard Blumenthal, a Democrat, has also won re-election to the Senate in Connecticut, while Democrat Chris Van Hollen also gets elected to the Senate in Maryland
Tammy Duckworth defeats Mark Kirk for the Senate in Illinois - he was quite vulnerable and had distanced himself from Trump early

Richard Shelby wins the race for Senate in Alabama
It looks like the Republicans will hold on to the House as the down ballot race results continue apace
